**Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst**

**The Opportunity**

We are currently recruiting committed people who want to develop in an Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst role.

**Role Overview**

As the Information Security GRC Analyst you will sit within the Information Security Governance team who are responsible for setting the Firm's policies and standards for information security across all its operations, practice groups and geographical locations.

The Information Security GRC Analyst will work closely with the Information Security GRC Manager and the wider Information Security department to play a role in completing security activities.

Using own aptitude and applies knowledge and experience to deliver security tasks including risk assessments, internal audits, incident management, exceptions and waivers, policy management as well as assisting with the management of security certifications(e.g. ISO27001) and any other GRC activities.

**Personal Qualities and Skills**:
This is an entry level security role that would benefit someone who is looking to start their career into the Information security world. You could be a graduate or experienced employee who is looking to switch career paths. We are looking for people whopossess the following qualities:
**Essential**:

- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and uphold professional standards and confidentiality with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident and able to make decisions taking a pragmatic, proactive approach to work to respond to a variety of demands.
- Strong communication skills, articulate and capable of producing high quality written output, including policies, procedures and reports.
- Ability to constructively challenge, facilitate and probe to fully understand the business needs.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads, whilst working to strict deadlines and measuring progress.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.

**Desired**:

- Awareness of practices and procedures of information security and how this applies to and impacts the business.

**Qualifications**

**Required**
- B.A. or B.S degree or equivalent practical experience.

**Desirable**
- Any entry level security qualifications (e.g. CCNA security, CompTIA security+).
- Any IT related qualifications.
