**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role as a CNC Lathe Operator located in Rochdale. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing machine tooling, selecting and installing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings, monitoring machine operations, and performing quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of machine tooling and cutting tools
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operating software
- Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and minor maintenance tasks
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Tool making experience would be an advantage
- Wage Negotiable
