Job Title: Precision Engineer/CNC turner/miller

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Precision Engineers, CNC turners, and millers to join our client's team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precise components for various industries.

The ideal candidate should be a proficient engineer with extensive CNC experience, capable of programming, setting up, and operating these machines. Additionally, it would be advantageous if the candidate has experience in CAD/CAM programming and is familiar with the following areas: wire eroding, CNC milling, CNC turning, tool making, precision machining, and wire EDM.

Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and run CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and tools.
  2. Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  3. Inspect the final products to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
  4. Conduct regular machine maintenance to keep them in optimal working condition.
  5. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in precision engineering and machining techniques.
  2. Proficiency in reading and comprehending engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.
  4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  5. Flexibility to work varying hours as necessary.

The compensation package includes a base salary of £31,200 with additional opportunities for overtime.
