London, United Kingdom Prospectus Full time

Prospectus is delighted to be working with Ark to recruit an Executive Assistant who will provide a consistently high standard of support to allow the CEO, Lucy Heller, to operate efficiently and optimise the use of her time.

Ark is an international charity, transforming lives through education. We exist to give every young person, regardless of their background, a great education and real choices in life. In the UK, they're a network of 39 schools, educating around 28,500 pupils in areas where it can make the biggest difference and are recognised as one of the highest achieving academy groups in the country. Ark wants to change the lives of children everywhere, not just Ark schools. So, they create and incubate Ventures designed not only to help pupils in Ark schools, but also to improve education systems.

The main responsibilities of this role include managing and coordinating the CEO's diary, liaising with internal and external individuals, ensuring any associated travel and meeting rooms/venues are appropriate for the nature of each meeting. You will exercise wise judgment to manage and prioritise competing demands on the CEO's time. You will provide administrative support to the CEO, compiling information and drafting well-written documents consistent with the tone and style of the CEO and the wider organisation. You will also assist in the drafting letters, reports and documents (including confidential items). You will also support the board for a part of your role.

To be successful as an Executive Assistant you will have demonstrable experience of working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Diary Manager to senior leaders in a fast-paced setting. You will have an enthusiasm for diary management and the organisational and diplomatic skills required to do this well. You will be highly computer literate, with experience of data handling and necessary IT systems. Overall, you will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and be highly organised.

Please note this role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum expectation to work from their London office 2/3 days a week.
- In order to apply, simply submit your CV in the first instance and begin preparing a cover letter explaining why you would make a good fit for the role. Should your CV be suitable, we will send you the full job description and arrange for a call to discuss the role further._
