We ensure we recognise and thank our team with various rewards - Enhanced maternity and paternity scheme - Long service awards - Cycle to work scheme - Enhanced sick pay scheme - Employee Assistance Programme to give you confidential advice and support - Recently refurbished and modern office space for you to use, with café-style lunch break out areas, and a wellbeing room - Death in service benefit amounting to 3 times annual salary **As a Functional Skills Sessional Tutor a typical day might include**: - Delivering our functional skills provision from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 in Maths and English. - Being responsible for Quality Assurance of your teaching to ensure our customers receive the best service possible. - Planning, preparing, delivering and evaluating all the courses you lead. **What looks good to us**: - Teaching qualification appropriate for working in Post 16 Sector, and/or willingness to undergo further training. - Experience of teaching/training or working with groups of adults in appropriate field. - An understanding of the principles underpinning teaching adults, i.e. planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of learning. - An awareness of different learning strategies and teaching methods suitable for teaching a diverse range of abilities. - Effective oral and written communication, numeracy and interpersonal qualifications & skills to communicate effectively with staff and learners alike.
