**ESOL - Sessional Tutors**

Leicestershire Adult Learning Service are looking for tutors to teach ESOL in venues around the county, particularly at, Market Harborough, Wigston, Loughborough. Teaching minimum 4 hours per week term-time, opportunities to teach additional hours could be available.

Applicants are advised that we have a particular need for the following;
- Evening tutors at our centres in Market Harborough and Wigston
- Daytime tutors at our centre in Loughborough

We are looking for tutors who can inspire, motivate, and raise the aspirations of our ESOL learners through specialist knowledge and real focus on the pastoral aspect of the role.

You will build our learners language, life and employability skills through outstanding teaching and using a variety of innovative and creative methods in the classroom. All going toward building learning environments where our learners can meet and exceed their individual potential.

We encourage the use of ICT in our classrooms and expect our learners to grow in confidence when using technology, apps and our own virtual learning environments. Experience of teaching online as well as face to face is an advantage.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- A nationally approved teaching qualification, preferably to teach adults
- Recent experience of teaching ESOL at a variety of levels, preferably to adults
- Ability to use relevant teaching materials and techniques to support learning, including the use of e-learning technology
- Level 2 maths, English and excellent ICT skills
- Ability to use ICT in the classroom and professional communication.
- Flexibility to travel to various learning centres around the county during the daytime or in the evening as required
- Ability to complete administration in line with Quality Assurance processes as required.
