Supported Living Deputy Manager

In partnership with one of the UKs recognised and established providers of care and support, I am seeking a skilled, experienced, and person-centred deputy manager to join their GOOD rated supported living service in West Bromwich.
You will work closely with the registered manager and an established team of care and support staff to provide high quality, person centred care and support to adults aged between 18- 65 years who have various disabilities, learning disabilities and mentalhealth needs. Your new service will support up to 15 adults.
To be considered for this role you must have experience in leading a team, writing, and reviewing care plans, conducting risk assessments, liaising with social services, hospitals, GPs, and families. As well as having experience of internal and external audits,CQC inspections, safeguarding, rotas and recruitment. It is desirable for you have experience within learning disabilities and/or mental health and if you have experience supporting adults that self-harm then even better.
To be successful in the deputy manager role, you will require the level 3 in health and social care, and ideally be working towards/or willing to secure the level 5 in leadership and management. You will also demonstrate experience supporting adults with arange of learning disabilities and mental health needs in a similar setting.
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required, as is the flexibility to share the on-call rota.
In return, not only will you join a recognised care provider who values their staff wellbeing and development, you will also get the opportunity to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, a starting salary of £24,000 per year, a desirable pension and healthcarepackage and a generous annual leave allowance.
