**About Us**

Location Medical Services is a CQC registered company; providing professional healthcare services to the Film, TV, and Events industries. We are also contracted to multiple NHS paramedic home visiting services. We have been around for over 25 years and have an excellent reputation for providing high quality staff and meeting the forever changing demands of our film & TV clients.

Our Make Ready is responsible for the management and distribution of our kits, medical and event equipment as well as our vehicles; rapid response primary care cars and ambulances used on location for film productions and in the diverse environments of the event industry. It is the first point-of-call for many of our staff as they begin their shifts, wherever they may be working. This is a supporting role, ensuring our EMT’s, Techs and Paramedics have access to fully equipped, clean and well maintained vehicles at the start of each shift.

**The Role**:
Working under the guidance of the Make Ready manager, the role is mainly operational with some regular administrative duties. The role requires someone who is pro-active, able to work shifts which may include unsocial hours, and who is able to, occasionally work on their own without direct supervision.

Main duties will involve:

- Moving, refueling, maintaining and cleaning ambulances and vehicles to infection prevention control standards as guided by the Make Ready manager.
- Reporting any vehicle defects, faults or maintenance issues to the Make Ready manager.
- Ensuring our electronic stock tracking and recording systems are applied as stock is checked in and out of the Make Ready area.
- Ensuring medical devices and equipment are fully functional and fit for duty. Maintaining the Make Ready area in a clean and tidy state at all times.
- Occasionally make up a variety of medical kit bags for deployment on vehicles.
- Assist with packing vehicles for deployment at events nationwide.
- Take on additional ad-hoc duties as instructed by the Make Ready manager.

**Essential Requirements**
- Intermediate numeracy and literacy (ideally GCSE level of education or equivalent).
- Full UK driving license (C1 category preferred but not essential).
- Able to work to deadlines
- Reliable, with a high attention to detail
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, willingness to learn other platforms (for stock checking)
- Experience working in a medical / ambulance setting
- Fleet / vehicle Management or Maintenance Experience

**Location**: Shepperton

**Schedule: up to 4 or **5 days per week, normally 8 hours per day - some flexibility possible with working hours - but may require occasional weekends or evenings during periods of high demand (with time off in lieu).

**Hourly pay: £11-15/h depending on experience**
