Beaumont Drylining Ltd are a company based in Plymouth, covering the whole of the Southwest, specialising in internal fit outs. With over 20 years’ experience in the fitting of all types of metal stud partitions, suspended ceilings, installation of SFS linings, direct fixing of plasterboard to timber frame units, bonding plasterboard to block work walls, tape & jointing, and plaster finishing. As a company we always aim for the highest quality of work, therefore all our operatives hold CSCS cards and NVQ'S in their relevant areas. We are also CHAS and SMAS accredited and have full employers/public liability insurance.

**The Job**

Apprentices will be working in all aspects of Drylining. Some examples are:
Safely and correctly operate tools and equipment, plant, and machinery appropriate for use. (e.g., scaffold, MEWPS, nail gun, circular saw, lasers.

Measure and set out from drawings provided and check vertical and horizontal datum.

Install dry lining systems to metal and stud partitions framed wall linings, framed and frameless beam and column encasements.

Install drylining and plasterboard linings e.g., panels, plasterboards, metal sections, timber battens, wallboards, thermal boards, glass reinforced gypsum board, fixings and fittings.

Although this is a Drylining apprentice role, there may at times be some other aspects of construction involved in, which they shall be supervised and trained. When the apprentices are working, they will be supervised by a fully qualified member of staff and will be shown all the correct procedures including health and safety in the workplace. Along with ensuring that their work area is clean and safe, and that all the tools are cleaned and put away correctly at the end of each day.

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**

You will be fully qualified Dryliner and become a self-employed Dryliner with the employer.

**Person Specification**

You will require your own transport for this apprenticeship.

**Working Week**

Apprentices will be expected to work a minimum of 45 hours a week, 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with exception for college.

Established in 2017 Greenlight Training Ltd is a subsidiary of Greenlight Group, that also incorporates Greenlight Safety Consultancy Ltd and Greenlight Safety Assessment Scheme Ltd. We have been operating for over 12 years with a longstanding and established name within the construction industry, with over 350 apprentices currently enrol.
