**Business Analyst (Controller) - Competitive Salary + Benefits - **Deeside, Flintshire** **The Role** Do you have experience of financial accounting or financial controlling / business analysis of a manufacturing business? Do you want to work with a company who empowers their employees? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you As a Business Analyst you will support the Senior management team with regular (monthly) information about the business performance and actively highlight areas for cost improvements and opportunities. These should lead to the implementation of the improvementsacross the business. **Key Responsibilities**: The key responsibilities of a Business Analyst (Controller) include, but are not limited to: - Support the Finance Director and Company Accountant within the monthly reporting by establishing and analysing relevant financial and non-financial key performance indicators for the senior management team and the HQ divisional controlling. - Regular analysis of the profitability of the product portfolio and customers via post-calculation of production orders and comparison with pre-calculations to challenge both Sales and Production. - Continuous cost reduction "Challenge" review and update status of all projects, define further targets and savings, set up regular communication to ensure feedback of results. - Development of monthly budget reporting showing analysis of actual costs and variances to budget. - Preparation of supporting data for the completion of the annual budget, including but not exclusively, production performance, raw material costs and sales and establish post calculation of production orders. - To maintain and further develop the business KPI dashboard (Balance scorecard) - Analyse and identify opportunities to assist senior management team, account managers and plant management to reduce stocks of raw materials, work in progress, finished goods and general items. - Ensure correct raw material issue procedures and month-end cut off are enforced. **The Company** **The Person** The key skills and qualities of a Business Analyst (Controller) are: - 2-3 years’ experience of financial accounting or financial controlling/ business analysis of a manufacturing business. - High level of IT capability required in Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Experience of ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics/ SAP.
