PR & Communications Executive
Meriden
£30-35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Are you a forward-thinking dynamic PR and Communications Executive looking to work for a company that will give you the autonomy to use your creative fair and PR contacts to help take this brand to the next level? This company are a well-established market leading brand who are already award winning, but they are hungry for more. Do you think you have the PR skills to help get them to the next level? You will report directly to the PR Manager and part of a wider Marketing team. We are looking for someone who can develop PR plans, building relationships both internally and externally, creating excellent copy for internal communications, newsletters, awards entries, as well as website copy and magazines and brochures.
As a PR & Communications Executive your key duties will include:

- Daily scanning of media requests to assess all relevant media opportunities- Proactive use daily media monitoring to capitalise on opportunities, including direct support for our social media team and creating reactive content- Comprehensive forward planning in key titles to strategically place positive articles about Pertemps- Additional proactive work to mine stories to feed newsletters and external PR, including ideas for proactive blogs and thought-leadership pieces- Acting as a brand ambassador for Pertemps, building relationships with other journalists and PR/media organisations- Maximising media coverage from our monthly Labour Market Update, compiled with the CBI- Managing general ad hoc work from across the business- Liaising with clients on PR projects and issues- Representing the marketing team at meetings as required- Some flexibility for working weekends and evenings may be required.To be considered for the role of PR & Communications Executive, you must have a proven track record of content, PR and SEO experience or have worked as a journalist. As well as experience of developing and delivering content strategies. Understanding of PR tactics, social/content listening would be a distinct advantage as well as an excellent knowledge of web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, WordPress, Contentful, PowerBI/Tableau.
