We have an exciting opportunity for you to be an integral part of the product proposition team. The team is tasked with developing customer-led strategic propositions. You will be the business lead on large projects in your area of expertise, working with multiplebusiness functions and external parties to deliver exciting new propositions.
You will ensure we have a customer-focused strategy covering our Pensions, Protection, and Investment propositions. Including successful design, development, and ongoing governance of the proposition in line with business plans.
What you’ll be doing:

- Ensure our propositions are meeting our customers’ needs and expectations and challenge the status quo if it is not customer-centric whilst maintaining commercials.
- Design and manage the customer-led proposition including governance, working with key stakeholders across the wider business.
- Manage the lifecycle of both new and existing products in line with regulatory expectations, and firm’s risk appetite.
- Identify areas of concern so that mitigating action can be implemented in a timely manner.
- Develop and/or support detailed business cases for the propositions you design presenting to key stakeholders of the business.
- Support the creation and development of target pricing proposals and subsequent detailed price points and analysis for new launches/annual value for money reviews, working with the Finance, Actuarial, and Product Governance teams.
- Support distribution of product propositions, by working with our advisers and marketing.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements and changes.
- Proactively engage with the Marketing and Communications team to create insightful updates to our advisors and customers regarding the proposition and any expected changes.

What we’re looking for:

- Knowledge of owning and running propositions within a life and pension company and/ or Investment Company.
- Excellent knowledge of different product wrappers associated with investments, pensions, protection, and income protection.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and changing product market, with experience delivering rapid change initiatives without compromising quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience in senior stakeholder management and successfully influencing & challenging others.
- Broad understanding of financial analysis and data analysis.
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships.
- Experience in developing proposals and recommendations for senior managers.
- Experience in people management and developing teams or mentoring would be desirable.
- Awareness of project management within a product-related environment and experience of the Product life cycle, from concept to product launch.
- Knowledge of the competitive environment
- IT literate - High level of Excel and PowerPoint skills.
