**Hours of work**:Part time and full time hours available
**Shift patterns below**:
Early**:07:00-14:00**.
Late: 1**6:00-21:00**.
Long day**:07:00-14:00 (break) 16:00-21:00**

**Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives? We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.**
**Job Purpose**:
As a Community Support Worker, your primary responsibilities include offering exceptional care and practical assistance to clients in their homes. This involves cleaning, preparing meals, companionship, and personal care, all while following safe working practices and respecting the privacy and dignity of clients.
**Essential Qualities**:
- Compassionate and caring approach to providing emotional support.
- Good communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clients and their families.
- Ability to assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting or supporting clients.
- Quick thinking and problem-solving skills for unexpected challenges.
- Accurate and timely recording of client information and care provided.
- Understanding and adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals, family members, and community services.
- Good time management to efficiently fulfill all care responsibilities.
- Team player with a caring and respectful nature.
- Awareness and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
- Satisfactory DBS Check.
- Clean driving license and access to own transport.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Understanding and adherence to medication schedules and monitoring for side effects.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development.
- Experience working with older people, dementia care, and manual handling.
- Evidence of Care Certificate or NVQ qualifications.
- Experience in domiciliary care.
