**Overall purpose of the post**:
We seek to appoint a suitably experienced person to the position of Human Resources Administrator from January 2026.

The HR department consists of the Head of HR, HR Business Partner and this maternity cover role of HR Administrator. The department provides a full HR service to c400 staff across all three schools.

This is a hands-on, operational role and the role holder will carry out a range of administrative duties, including those related to safer recruitment and maintaining both paper and electronic records.

**This is a fixed term post to cover a period of maternity absence. It is expected to commence 5th January 2026 and will end 31st December 2026 (or the return of the post holder, whichever is sooner). This is an all-year post as the post holder will be expected to provide cover in the office during holiday periods.**

**Key responsibilities**:
To assist with the administration of the Single Central Register. This includes ensuring that the school complies with safer recruitment (and wider safeguarding) practices and regulations including ensuring the completion of all appropriate employment and vetting checks.
- To assist with the maintenance of all electronically and manually stored HR records ensuring all data is accurate and up to date and provide timely reports as and when required. This includes carrying out regular HR Audit checks to ensure integrity of data is maintained and ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation.
- To provide administrative support for a range of HR projects.
- To assist with the preparation of employment contracts, changes to employment terms and conditions letters. Ensuring they are accurate and issued in a timely manner.

6. To build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing routine advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues.

7. To ensure confidentiality of information, including the safeguarding of information about current, past and prospective employees; to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of HR information.
