A TA is required at a superb primary school in East Birmingham, working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND.

** £70 - £85 per day
The TA role:
As a TA in this school, you will primarily be providing 1:1 support for pupils in KS2 with additional needs, particularly Autism and ADHD. You will also assist them within the classroom setting, differentiating their work to suitably challenge their level ofability, and ensure they are engaged with their learning. As a TA, you will need to effectively manage classroom behaviours and provide pastoral care for pupils when required.
The TA:
To be eligible for this TA role, you must hold a minimum of a Level 3 TA qualification, as well as have good experience working with SEN children. Ideally, you will have provided 1:1 support for KS2 pupils with SEND previously, and be able to demonstrate asolid understanding of the needs of the pupils. You should have a calm, resilient personality and be able to build a good rapport with the pupils you support.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school located in East Birmingham caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with a mixed intake and a relatively high proportion of SEN pupils. The school has a specific inclusion unit to assist with the education of SEN pupils.
