**SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School**:
A lovely primary school in Birmingham are looking for 1 Teaching Assistant to work with children across the school, focusing on both 1:1 and small group work, with both full-time and part-time hours available. You'll be supporting with a wide range of learning needs including undiagnosed Autism, and children with limited speech. What's most important is these children are supported by someone caring, nurturing and attentive to their needs.

As the pupils are vulnerable and have additional needs, you'll be working with the teacher to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and their learning. You must therefore be a highly motivated and nurturing teaching assistant with a flexible approach and be able to work in both 1:1 and group settings.

**The ideal SEN teaching assistant for this role should**:

- Have experience, or a passion for working with students with additional needs, especially Autism
- Have knowledge or understanding of how to support children with SEN
- Be flexible, proactive and patient
- Be nurturing in their approaching and interventions
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Have a Background in Education, Care, Social work, Psychology or Drama, as these are very transferable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £80.00-£100.00 per day
