**Newly Qualfied Accountant - Christchurch, Dorset**

Our **Christchurch** office has an excellent career opportunity for a **Newly Qualified Accountant** to join their busy accounts team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- preparing accounts and related tax computations for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders, LLPs and charities
- working closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and other departments, including direct contact with the Partners, managers and clients in order to obtain the required information to prepare their accounts
- delivering excellent client service
- reviewing and managing accounts work
- managing and prioritising internal workflow and assignments to deadlines
- assisting with driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the office
- VAT returns
- assisting with ad-hoc client support
- supporting the growth of the Christchurch office
- either ACA/ACCA qualified
- 3 years’ relevant experience working within an accountancy practice
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- previous experience of CCH, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage would be advantageous
- great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills
- pro-active and positive attitude
- Xero certified
- audit experience would useful but not essential
