**Hours: Mon - Fri - 8:30am - 17:00pm - Hybrid working - 1 day form home 4 office based**

We are currently hiring for and **ocean import specialist** primarily dealing with **ocean import operations** from end to end for key customer accounts. You ll be join our growing **Freight Forwarding** team based from our Wythenshawe offices in Manchester.

**Ocean Import Operations Overview**:
You will be accountable to the Operations Team Leader for the day to day running of customers import and export requirements via ocean, air and road, ensuring procedures are followed. Also ensuring the department remains profitable, efficient and focused. The role is permanently office based.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete start to finish ocean import operations for key customer accounts
- Ensure all shipments imports/exports, are processed within a timely manner.
- Prompt processing of customer invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPI's
- Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, merchant haulage and oversea agents
- Obtain quotes.rates for best possible price.
- Pride the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
