**About us**

Gidi Grill is a West-African and Caribbean inspired Fusion restaurant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist and supervise bar staff, floor staff and runners.
- Follow up on the availability of products on offer.
- Ensure the bar is properly stocked at the beginning and throughout service.
- Oversee the orderly management of the wine cellar.
- Handling unexpected issues, such as staff shortages, equipment breakdowns, or customer
- complaints, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Training of new staff and ensuring excellent training is achieved.
- Conduct inspections of the entire restaurant to ensure everything is in order.
- Ensure the fire exit is unlocked/open before service and closed/locked at the end of service.
- Coordinate with HR on staff absenteeism and sick time off.
- Confirm delivery of products by suppliers and address delivery issues.
- Prepare weekly rota.
- Sign in and complete all necessary forms, especially the opening and closing sheets.
- Perform floating duties as needed.
- Assist all areas of service as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the business.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software.
- Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
