Overseas Visitors Supervisor

We are seeking a competent Overseas Visitors Supervisor who will take a hands on approach leading a team of six staff.
The Overseas Visitors Department is responsible for identifying chargeable overseas visitors in order to correctly charge for NHS services received.
The role requires an in-depth understanding of Department of Health guidelines as well as tact, flexibility and a positive attitude.
The Overseas Visitors Team is part of the International and Private Patients Directorate. You will primarily be based at Denmark Hill, but some cross site cover may be required at times. This would be at the PRUH where we have a small Private Patients and Overseas Visitors team.

1. Supervising a team of six, resolving queries and providing case by case advise.
2. Keeping on top of new legislation and ensure the team is aware of same.
3. Reviewing policies and procedures on an ongoing basis and demonstrate that these are adhered to.
4. Assisting the team in collecting upfront deposits for treatment.
