Cubed Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting for Skilled Operatives for a leading Modular Building Manufacturer in York.

As a Skilled Operative, you will use joinery, construction and fitting skills to work as a team in building and refurnishing modular buildings.

Hours of work are Monday Friday
- 08:00- 16:00

Overtime is paid at Time + 1/2 after 39 hours has been worked. There is plenty of overtime available, mainly through the week as well as 1/2 day on a Saturday morning. After 5 hrs
- overtime is paid in rate 2.0

These roles are permanent starts and immediate starts can be accommodated.

Our client can offer training and progression and have recently promoted 5 people from within for senior roles.

Training will be provided to successful applicants and typically can/will include:

- Slinger Banksman
- First Aid training
- Manual Handling
- Working from heights
- FLT
- Lift Supervisor
- Specific machine and tool training

Due to company growth, our client are looking to add to their team for Multi and Semi Skilled Operatives. In these roles you will be responsible for processing workload from the Production Manager, working to high quality standards, safely and minimising waste.

We are looking for people with great time management skills, who are capable of adapting and working across different projects. Having a pride in your work and working to quality standards is essential due to the commitment of providing a first class service to clients and end users.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working as part of a team of operatives, you will be helping to fully refurbish cabins and modular buildings to a bespoke specification and bring to a brand new status
- You will ensure that production targets are met in line with financial goals set for the company
- Site visits to carry out repairs as required
- Ensure all furniture is checked on return to the yard, removed from cabins and put back into storage
- Keep the forklift truck in good and serviceable condition
- Minimise material wastage
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of cabins / buildings and materials
- Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and workshop at all times
- Adhere to current health and safety legislation

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
