I am recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established, forward-thinking and growing manufacturing business, making Architectural Steel products based on the outskirts of York. This is a genuine permanent position due to expansion and offers an immediate start. Along with great training and progression opportunities.
- Working hours are Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
- Hourly rate of up to £12 per hour DOE
- Overtime available, paid at time and a half
- Great commute from York, Malton, Driffield, Selby and surrounding areas

**The successful Assembly Operative will be required to;**
- Work from engineering drawings
- Use all associated hand and electric tools
- Follow instructions from Team Leader and Production Supervisor
- Work to deadlines and produce high-quality finished goods
- Carry out associated warehouse tasks

**To be successful as the Assembly Operative you will;**
- Ideally have experience within a similar role working with stone surfaces
- Have experience working from drawings
- Have a strong work ethic
- Ideally have experience working with overhead jib cranes
- Need own transport due to location and shift
