Housekeeper

Responsible for ensuring guest rooms, corridors, laundry and public areas in the New Lanark Mill Hotel are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
- Ensures housekeeping trolley is maintained on a daily basis.
- Undertakes cleaning duties in accordance with housekeeping procedures and standards.
- Follows company policy with regards to disposal of waste.
- Ensures lost property is passed to the Head Housekeeper for safe storage.
- To provide a helpful and professional service to guests requiring assistance. This includes anticipating guest needs whenever possible and fulfilling all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
- Ensures departmental minimum standards of performance are adhered to at all times.
- Ensures the laundry operation is carried out according to work practices and Health and Safety procedures.
- Reports any maintenance, repair or hazard issues to the Head Housekeeper.
- Proactively encourages guests to provide feedback on guest cards or online internet sites.
- Adheres to Health and Safety policies that are in place, at all times. Ensures awareness of the risk assessments, method statements and training requirements relating to the role.
- Undertakes training, where required, relevant to job role.
- From time to time, undertakes other duties as may reasonably be requested.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
