**About the role and the team**

As a Progression Coach, you will manage a caseload of young people, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs. This will involve running group sessions and other key activities within the supported accommodation to help them progress towards independence.

You also will provide one to one support with practical and emotional preparation for transition, building confidence and life skills with young people, as well as exploring opportunities for buddying and peer support.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of working with young care leavers
- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance misuse, those that are care experienced
- A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of Safeguarding requirements and procedures
