Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Regional HR Advisor to join our regional team on a full-time permanent basis.

You’ll provide an efficient and effective support to the site based operational and functional teams in all aspects of HR and payroll across the GXO B&Q Transport network. You’ll provide a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to absence, conduct and capability, grievance matters, recruitment, employee engagement, organisational change and a range of employment and employee relations matters.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum plus company car or car allowance, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with colleagues, all site functions, and service providers
- Interpret complex employee relations issues and HR policies and procedures in order to provide appropriate solution focussed advice to managers
- Support the site teams in proactively identifying, developing and promoting employee engagement initiatives
- Drive the development and maintenance of a performance management culture by developing manager skills, leading on capability-related issues, and advising and guiding managers through the relevant policies
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, providing generalist HR support to a large population
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR policy, practice and procedures
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels - this could be anything from our site teams to our leadership teams
- The flexibility and self-motivated mind-set
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified or studying towards
