Robert Walters are excited to be partnering with a market leading health insurance company in the Cheshire area on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for a highly experienced individual to be responsible for the efficient running of the organisation'saccounts, including everyday duties such as general entries, balance sheets, ledgers, reporting and advice management. You will also be responsible for budgets, forecast and planning and working with internal and external stakeholders of which will add moreforward thinking aspects to accounts.

The role includes a 5% bonus with a 10% pension as well as flexy time offering, only requiring you to be in the office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring contract tenders are financially and commercially strong.
- Partnering proactively and closely with senior leadership to complete thorough financial reviews of commercial contracts.
- Reporting and controlling the working capital cycle.
- Support the development of the Society's MI function.
- Managing revenue forecasting and budget process.
- Calculating pricing, valuation, rewards and incentives.
- Preparing management information for both strategic and operational purposes including strategic financial planning, financial governance and budget monitoring.
- Commentating on the P&L performance to the senior heads of finance.
- Monitoring and developing financial processes to ensure the business finances are well controlled.

Key Skills:

- Part or qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Highly analytical.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be aware of the commercial and risk environment in which the company operates.
- Strong ability to challenge stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations, compliance, stock markets, or local markets.
- High level of persuasion skills to influence heads of departments, company leaders, and decision makers to convince them to make the right call.
- Advanced excel & data modelling skills
