Job title: Production Planner (12 month contract) Reporting to: Global Planning Manager Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk (Hybrid working opportunities available) Hours: 37.5 hours per week **The Opportunity** The Production Planner will contribute to the successful day-to-day running of the Global Planning Department by providing critical support and monitoring of daily orders and workflows. They will play a key role in maintaining the Leadtime Request System to ensure that Customers have their orders confirmed in the shortest possible time. Equally, they will be responsible for the creation and progression of works orders to satisfy not only orders but Contracts, Stock Requests, Enquiries, etc. This is a challenging role in a fast-paced department, requiring excellent communication skills, tenacity, diligence and high levels of attention to detail. **What it’s like to work here** We’ve been making the world taste better since 1886 and sell over 3000 products in more than 90 countries, but we’re only just getting started. The people and the culture create a fantastic company to be part of”_ - Rebecca, Customer Service Manager **What you’ll be doing** The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: - Monitor and drive the rapid confirmation and closure of new order Leadtime Requests - Assess demand and raise works orders to satisfy orders and stock build - Follow up on enquiries with other departments relating to above - Monitor the status of customer orders and act accordingly to maintain on time deliveries - Analyse and interpret BOMs to ensure correct stock rotation and opportunities to minimise lead times - Monitor works orders through all status levels to ensure on time and in full delivery - Review all exception reports, operating policies, and procedures in the spirit of continuous improvement - Perform such other tasks as are consistent with the general role description and job title - Behave in all ways congruent with Treatt values, also keeping health and safety at the forefront of everything **What we’re looking for** - Educated to A Level or above **Essential**: - Knowledge and experience of MRP. - Data extraction, analysis, and administration - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Collaborative, team-player, able to interact effectively regionally and globally - Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse a high volume of data and produce recommendations - Excellent attention to detail **Desirable**: - Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) - Forecasting - Experience of working within the Flavour & Fragrance industry **What we’ll do for you** We offer an excellent package which includes a competitive salary; a generous holiday entitlement as well as the opportunity to purchase additional holiday, we also offer a discretionary annual bonus, BUPA medical and dental schemes, pension scheme with 9% employer contribution, life assurance, group income protection, SAYE schemes and free shares.
