**PRODUCTION PLANNER**

Working Hours: 6.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Roach Bank Road, Bury.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and driven **Production Planner** to join Cranswick Continental Foods, a leading food manufacturer currently based in Bury, Manchester. We are looking for someone to bring experience to strengthen and support a team in a demanding and fast-moving environment. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the purpose of the role will be to **produce and control daily production plans** that are both achievable and meet the required orders for the business. Cranswick Continental Foods is a trading style of Brunswick Country Foods PLC, as part of this leading FTSE 250 food company Continental Fine foods supply a breadth of categories including charcuterie, olives, antipasti, cheese, pasta and pate. Our customer base ranges from retail through foodservice to wholesale and manufactures.

**Main duties include**:

- To plan and prioritize production to ensure maximum performance.
- Ensure produced inventory is at a safe level to safeguard full supply without overstock.
- Schedule shift workload according to production needs and resource availability.
- To determine available and required manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- **Planning and Supervisory experience in a fast-paced and high-volume business **(FMCG advantage)
- **Pragmatic approach to solving problems** - whilst working well under pressure.
- **Vocal and effective communicator** - due to cross functional touch points within business.
- **Strong IT skills**, particularly in Microsoft excel.
- **Keen attention to detail**.
- Impeccable **organisation**, **planning** and **prioritisation** skills.
