Full Time Dental Receptionist

Priors Hall Dental is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Full Time Receptionist to join our dental practice. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong focus on patient care and communication, and a positive "can-do" attitude. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow during weekends. **Responsibilities**: Front Desk Management: - Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. - Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain appointment calendars. - Coordinate patient flow by communicating with dental staff and ensuring optimal use of treatment rooms. - Ensure waiting areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Patient Care and Communication: - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns. - Maintain patient records, update information, and ensure accuracy of data in the practice management system. - Assist patients in completing necessary forms and paperwork. - Educate patients about available dental services and provide basic information regarding treatments and procedures. Leadership and Teamwork: - Display strong leadership skills by effectively coordinating with other receptionists and dental staff. - Collaborate with the dental team to optimise patient experience and improve practice efficiency. - Support and adhere to the practice's policies, procedures, and protocols. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a pleasant and productive work environment. Administrative Duties: - Perform general clerical tasks, including scanning and data entry. - Handle financial transactions, including processing payments, insurance coverage, and coordinating billing. - Assist with the management of inventory and supplies, ensuring availability of necessary materials. Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care. - Willingness to adapt to changing schedules or demands.
