We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable **Lead Generators** to help identify and qualify households eligible for free home energy improvements under the **ECO4 (Energy Company Obligation)** scheme. This is a public-facing role ideal for individuals who are confident communicators and passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives through government-funded energy initiatives.
You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, raising awareness of the scheme and gathering basic information for eligibility assessments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Approach homeowners and tenants in designated areas (door-to-door, events, or inbound queries)
- Inform customers about the ECO4 scheme and its benefits (e.g., free insulation, heating upgrades, etc.)
- Gather essential customer information (e.g., benefits status, property type, home heating system)
- Record and submit leads to the internal team for further qualification
- Work closely with sales and assessment teams to ensure lead quality
- Maintain a positive and respectful approach when engaging with the public
- Meet daily or weekly lead generation targets
**Requirements**:
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, approachable, and confident when speaking to people
- Basic understanding of the ECO4 scheme or willingness to learn
- Able to work independently in the field or in a team environment
- Organised and dependable with accurate data recording skills
- Experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or customer outreach (preferred but not essential)
