Maintenance Person

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person.
This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and productive environment.
**Duties**
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems
- Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing and heating systems
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Repair fixtures and fittings in the property
- Painting and Decorating
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics and repair logs.
- Fire Marshall - responsible for fire tests, drills and checking fire equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff or clients promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure mínimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Liaise with external contractors to ensure Gas and Electrical safety check are carried out
- PAT Testing.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments is essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.50-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
