**Location**: Bolton, Greater Manchester
**Salary**: £28,681.57, rising to £29,828.83 after 12 months
**Hours**: Full-time, 37 hours per week (occasional evening/weekend work required)
**Contract**: Permanent
**DBS Check**: Enhanced DBS required
We are recruiting for a passionate and driven **Fundraising and Events Coordinator** on behalf of a respected charity supporting young people in the North West.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in fundraising and event management to make a meaningful difference. You will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering high-quality events, increasing income across multiple fundraising streams, and strengthening community engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver a calendar of fundraising events to meet a target of £100,000 annually.
- Build and maintain partnerships with individuals, organisations, and sponsors.
- Manage event logistics, merchandise sales, and online fundraising platforms.
- Develop and promote marketing content, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Support social enterprise initiatives and community engagement projects.
- Act as a confident ambassador for the charity at public engagements.
- Recruit and manage volunteers for events.
**About You**:
- At least 2 years' experience in a fundraising or events coordination role.
- Strong event planning skills—from theme design and entertainment to logistics.
- A proven track record of meeting income targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
**Desirable**:
- Certificate from the Institute of Fundraising.
- Local community links and a strong professional network in the region.
