Seven Social Care is looking for a Tenancy Support Worker in Sheffield.
The role:
As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will provide safe accommodation, rehabilitate families to keep their homes and understand their responsibilities as a tenant, settle into a community, live peacefully with their neighbours, and understand health and safetyissues in the home environment. No two days will be the same
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the policies and procedures laid down by Sheffield City Council Housing Services, Social Services and Education Services.
- Work in partnership with the team and other partner agencies to ensure effective delivery of the service to benefit of the family and the community.
- Motivate service users to take part in the Service and to work constructively to change their behaviour.
- Evaluate risk of harm and failure to protect children and report any concerns to appropriate persons or agencies.
- Write reports and use other documentation as necessary and appropriate.
Applicant Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years tenancy support/housing experience.
- Compliance: Up to date DBS.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
