Axiom personnel currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced health and safety manager to join one of our fast growing clients.

**Home Based, in the Northern Area* - Going to visit sites at least once per year**

**Overview**:
Manage Northern UK customer base for both Capital Sales of my clients range of products and After Sales parts/repairs/site services.

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Based within the stated sales region, the employee will service all agreed end users in the target market sectors.
- Further and continuous training and development will take place in Loughton, Essex and Germany as required
- The area of responsibility will cover North of England, although the employee will be expected to travel throughout the UK and Ireland if required
- The employee will be expected to work closely with the Aerzen capital sales, after sales and rental teams to ensure every Aerzen opportunity is maximised and in doing so customers are made aware of the joined-up service the Company provides.
- The role will be one of direct selling, budget and firm quotation production, tender submission where appropriate and contract & order negotiation.
- Site visits are expected to our customer's premises. These include Sewage Treatment Plants, Factories, Cement Plants, Flour Mills and Paper Mills amongst others. Some sites are very dirty.
- Providing day to day Sales and After Sales support to all customers in allotted area (basically, East Midlands, Yorkshire, Eastern Lancashire, Cumbria, Northumberland)
- Contacting and visiting existing and new customers to generate profitable orders of specified plant and services
- Maintaining and fostering relationships
- Implementing sales plan as agreed with National Sales Manager
- Achieving agreed sales and profit targets
- HND in Engineering or equivalent
- Experienced in both Sales and Applications Engineering, preferably within the Water, Pneumatic Conveying, or Materials Handling Industries
- Should have an extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A knowledge of Autocad would be advantageous.
- A knowledge of Microsoft Nav Dynamics and Salesforce CRM would be very useful.
- Good presentation and analytical skills and experience are essential to this position. Good contract negotiation skills and experience are essential.
