**Area Field Sales Manager**

**£50,000 PA salary plus bonus, fully expensed company car and benefits**

**Remote based**

**Reporting to the Head of Sales**

Northern based manufacturer. (Wholesale and Independents)

The role of Area Field Sales Manager reports to the Head of Sales accountable for the day-to-day management of our key strategic wholesale partners and four direct reports three territory sales managers.

The focus will be to drive business plans within the customer base.

This role is cross functional, with the ability to plan well, working closely with supply chain, marketing, and finance.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Forecast and planning key accounts to ensure both budgeted NSV and margin targets are achieved.
- Monthly reports into the Head of Sales with Proactive Action plans
- Train, lead and develop the two Territory Sales Managers ensuring the key 6 selling requirements are implemented in full.
- Working with the sales team to audit and ensure the reports are up to date, accurate and on time.
- Proactive management re the future direction of the field team based on measured sales and distribution growth within the independent trade.

**Qualifications/Knowledge & Skills**:
**(Essential)**
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiator
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan effectively
- Previous account management experience is a must.
- Proven Field Sales Manager experience.
- Coaching and leadership Skills combined with winning and delivering results
- Good people management

**(Desirable)**
- Previous Field Sales experience in a related channel
- Ideally someone who has great people management and coaching and will have an active interest in the product ranges.
