You will be joining our small but crucial team, who are committed to making positive change in how Homes England makes decisions. **Job description**: Mary Carter is believes in delivering a first-class customer service to stakeholders, providing crucial support and advice, and taking an innovative and creative approach to governance issues. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will provide efficient, consistent and effective governance support and have the opportunity to help evolve those structures in future. The role will support the delivery of key decision making structures across the Agency. There are also exciting development projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Governance offering. **Responsibilities**: Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on the Board and Executive, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You'll be comfortable supporting the Board Secretary and Assistant Director of Governance with complex governance issues. You will be proficient in providing secretariat services, and governance advice. Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as the Secretariat team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
