An exciting Classroom Assistant position has become available, working with a pupil in KS4 with ADHD and complex learning needs.

** £400 - £450 per week
The Classroom Assistant:
For this Classroom Assistant position, you must hold a Level 3 Classroom Assistant qualification and have experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs. It is important that you can work in a fast-paced environment and have a goodunderstanding of the range of additional needs you will be working with. You must be a Classroom Assistant with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of de-escalation techniques.
The Classroom Assistant Role:
As a Classroom Assistant at this school, you will be working with pupils with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs. You will be supporting teaching staff with delivering high-quality lessons, assisting with classroom management and learning support. Asa Classroom Assistant, you will also work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, both providing academic support or assisting with pastoral support.

This Alternative Provision based in South Birmingham (the ward of Northfield) caters for KS3 and KS4 pupils with SEN, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour that cannot be met by a mainstream setting.
