Here at GXO, we’re looking for an HR Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, based out of our Head Office in Northampton. As a key part of our central People Services team, you'll provide a professional service across a broad range of processes, including case management, all onboarding, lifecycle, and leaver processing, as well as support with administration and queries.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, where you’ll be working from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a hybrid working model where we offer flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week once you are established within the role.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £24,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Ensure all tickets are managed, processed, and tracked in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain records of personnel-related data in line with retention guidance, ensuring all personnel files contain the relevant information required
- Work closely with peers and colleagues across People Services to oversee and provide appropriate compliance and governance structure to service improvements identifying risks, issues, and consistency
- Maintain and validate data in HR System, including new hires/terminations, transfers, salary/wage changes, benefit deductions/changes, and work locations
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Experience in an HR-related role, if you are working towards CIPD Qualification this would be an added bonus
- A minimum of 1 years in a shared service environment for a large, complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and contractual law is essential
- Able to work at pace and demonstrate flexibility, you'll be working in an environment with frequent interruptions, changing tasks and priorities
