We are looking for a dedicated **IOM (Integrated offender management) Recovery Co-ordinator** to join our Hull Team

As an essential part of delivering the national and local Integrated Offender Management agenda, you will support people with their or their loved ones’ drug and/or alcohol issues whilst also reducing reoffending.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives

**Hours**: 37.5hrs per week

**Salary**: £26,393 - £30,316

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Engage with people that have identified substance misuse indicators, identified via IOM operational forums - The role will provide a consistent element ensuring involvement throughout an individuals contact with the service
- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop recovery plans that clearly identify how they will enable progression in addressing substance use and re/integrating into the community.
- Support the project and wider service to inform future opportunities by gathering research on specific topics when required
- Ensure the timely and accurate collection, recording and reporting of specified. Contribute to the monitoring and ongoing evaluation of the service offered to IOM service users
- Provide health education especially regarding harm minimisation, blood borne viruses and overdose prevention
- To work alongside the ReNew Community Trainer to deliver training across criminal justice partnerships

**About you**:

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within criminal justice or related field
- Experience of working with individuals that have suffered multiple disadvantages
- Experience of identifying and addressing safeguarding incidents
- Ability to communicate information to individuals and groups in a way that is easily understood.
- Ability to engage with individuals with varying need by specific psychosocial interventions
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
