**About us**

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Prison Recovery Coordinator** to join our prestigious client, located in HMP Durham. This position is temporary and expected to last around 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on the requirements of the business.

**To be considered for this role, you MUST have Prison Clearance.**

**All work will be based on site. 37hr week Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30**

**JohnJasper Care** currently recruiting experienced **Prison Recovery Coordinator Workers **on behalf of a North East Prison. The service that we are recruiting for is in the North East.

We are looking for experienced and values led Prison Recovery Coordinator to work alongside their long term team, on an bank basis.

**The shifts are on Mon - Fri 8.30-4.30.**

**The rate is £17.00 per hour, weekly pay.**

We are looking for an experienced Prison Recovery Coordinator to join our team. Manage a caseload of service users: You will oversee and administer a caseload of service users, ensuring effective implementation and continuous review of recovery plans and treatment. This will involve close collaboration with staff members, as well as engaging with family members and significant others when appropriate

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and evaluate the needs of clients and develop individualised plans of care.
- Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users
- Identify and prevent potential harm to service users and others by following local and organisational safeguarding guidelines, including referral to and enagagement with relevant safeguarding authorities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful outcomes for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

In summary, as a Prison Recovery Coordinator, your role will involve managing a caseload, conducting assessments, collaborating with partner agencies, working within a multi-disciplinary team, and safeguarding the well-being of service users by following relevant guidelines and protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £17.00 per hour
