Trust In Soda have partnered with a world-renowned global consultancy client on their search for a **SC CLEARED Capacity Manager** on 4 Month Contract, based on a remote working model.

**Role Description/Skills Desired**:

- The Capacity Manager will monitor and analyse capacity needs via capacity reporting & tooling and is responsible for ensuring that services and infrastructure are able to deliver the agreed service level targets for capacity and performance in a cost effectiveand timely manner.
- The Capacity Manager will be responsible for managing the repository/access of all Capacity Management data
- They will forecast the capacity of operational services. This will include initiating proactive and reactive action to ensure that the performances and capabilities of services meet their agreed targets.
- They will have oversight and responsibility for the Capacity plan covering scenarios for different predictions of business demand to deliver the agreed service target levels.
- Identify future business requirements that will affect capacity/availability requirements and ensure there is a match between the capacity of IT and the agreed business demands.
- Track IT resource usage and promptly identify capacity issues; provide capacity trending information to allow for forecasting future capacity requirements.
- Assess Incidents/Problems and make appropriate capacity IT changes to improve performance.
- Ensure that all changes are assessed for their impact on capacity and performance and attending CAB meetings when appropriate
- Ensure that there is adequate capacity within the IT environment to meet Service Levels and other performance requirements, considering daily, weekly, and seasonal variations in capacity demands.
- Develop and propose scenarios for addressing capacity constraints and define associated costs, risks, and benefits of each.
- Ensures high quality reports are produced and manages associated actions
- Maintenance and improvement of role related Management documentation, through effectively and timely review and authorisation.
- Adherence to Capacity Management Policies, Guidelines and Process
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with Customers and Suppliers
- Leads operational and management-oriented meetings
- Provides feeds into the Continuous Service Improvement process where appropriate
