JOB PURPOSE*

The recognise that technology on its own does not deliver change and offers technology adoption services alongside excellent technical consulting to enable our clients to achieve their business goals.

The key purpose of the Head of Business Transformation is to evolve the BT practice through the development of appropriate offerings, business development activities and generating revenue thorough delivery of consulting engagements. These consulting engagements often comprise a wider programme of work and lead to our provision of a support managed service.
The Head of Business Transformation will be an experienced Adoption and Change professional, used to working in a consulting environment - with experience of both shaping and delivering technology adoption programmes. Capable of both being a Subject Matter Expert and building & leading a practice of delivery resources.

The Business Transformation Practice is a key area of focus for business - working across all other practices, and as such this role will need to have a flexible and sometimes entrepreneurial approach to developing and delivering transformation Services - working alongside existing Marketing, Sales, Consulting and Support teams. The services currently being delivered as part of this practice include business/process analysis and business change as part of a wider business/digital transformation. As such, there are two consultants who report into the Head of Business Transformation who will lead on each service offering.

This role is very hands-on delivery focussed - creating assets for new offerings / engaging with clients in a pre-sales capacity and delivering what you’ve sold. It also includes taking on the line management and development of the existing team as well as recruiting additional consultants as the pipeline allows.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Lead the shaping of the Business Transformation practice, s a business unit
- Work with Marketing to evolve the transformation brand, approach and propositions
- Work with Sales to develop transformation offerings - approach, materials, Sales support
- Client pre-sales activities - presentations, calls, meetings
- Work with Sales to build client proposals
- Lead discovery workshops and write ups
- Develop change and adoption solutions and strategies for the BT team to deliver
- Deliver Business Transformation engagements to clients on-site and remote - working with Technical Architects, Consultants and Project Managers
- Build Partner relationship with Microsoft
- Recruit additional team members to meet business need
- Line management, development and coaching of BT team members
- Develop new offerings - expand across The technical solution portfolio / into new market opportunities
The success of this role will be measured by the development of the Business Transformation Practice in terms of:

- Hitting/exceeding Business Transformation practice revenue targets
- Achieving target gross profit margin for the practice
- Hitting/exceeding software and IP sales targets
- Project delivery excellence of BT services
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
**Essential**
- An understanding of and the ability to articulate the People and Process side of change
- Significant experience of delivering adoption and change services at enterprise level and mid-market - working with Microsoft technologies and solutions
- Proven ability to understand technology and engage with technologists
- Credibility and ability to engage with clients and stakeholders up to C level
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Consulting services experience
- People management skills and experience
- Commercial awareness - ability to work effectively with Sales team to shape and land new business
**Desirable**
- Technical understanding of Azure, M365 and Microsoft security technologies - particularly AIP, Azure AAD, MFA, Intune, Azure B2B/B2C
- Experience of shaping consulting delivery offerings - from defining approach and creating content through to customer delivery
- Business management experience - ability to grow and develop a profitable business
- Recruitment experience - taking a diverse and inclusive approach from role definition to on-boarding new people
