Stock Excavators are looking for Workshop Assembly Fitters to join our production team.

The ideal applicant will have a mechanical background, with experience in the HGV/Plant industry and have knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, show a willing attitude to learn new skills and help drive our production to new levels.

Requirements/Skills
- Plant/HGV fitter experience, or a keen interest in learning this industry.
- Own tools beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take instruction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working within a team.
- Assemble and fit all components for the plant machinery builds. Ensuring they are fit for purpose.
- Operate hand power tools as required.
- Use measuring and gauging equipment.
- Use tools to correct tolerances.
- Read mechanical engineering drawings.
- Complete paperwork.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies.
- Diagnose faults and conduct repairs.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 17:30 & Friday 07:30 - 12:00

Overtime is also available in busier periods

We also offer a loyalty bonus for long service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £4.81-£14.00 per hour
