Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced **Electrical Qualified Supervisor** to join our team and oversee electrical maintenance projects within the social housing sector.

**Role Overview**:
As an **Electrical Qualified Supervisor**, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical works and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of electrical services for social housing properties. You will supervise and support a team of electricians, liaise with clients, and ensure that all electrical maintenance and repair works meet regulatory standards and are completed to the highest quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision & Leadership**: Supervise a team of qualified electricians, providing guidance, technical support, and training where necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical maintenance and repair services.
- **Project Management**: Oversee electrical maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Ensure all electrical works are carried out in compliance with current regulations (including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Safety Standards, and Health & Safety requirements) and that all safety procedures are followed.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct site inspections to assess the quality of electrical work, ensuring that it meets both internal and external standards.
- **Client Liaison**: Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and stakeholders, providing updates on the progress of works and addressing any issues that may arise.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of completed works, inspections, and maintenance activities, and prepare reports as required.
- **Fault Diagnosis & Problem Solving**: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults, providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Maintenance Planning**: Assist in the planning and scheduling of planned electrical maintenance, ensuring mínimal disruption to tenants and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- **Qualification**: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, with significant experience in the social housing sector and supervising or managing teams.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance in social housing properties, including compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., NICEIC, Part P, and Electrical Safety Standards).
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team of electricians to deliver high-quality work.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, tenants, and team members.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- **IT Proficiency**: Comfortable with using digital tools and software for reporting, scheduling, and managing projects.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- **Management/Supervisory Experience**: Previous experience supervising electrical teams in the social housing or facilities management sector.
- **Health & Safety Qualification**: IOSH or similar health and safety qualifications.
- **Additional Certifications**: Any additional qualifications such as SSSTS would be beneficial.
