We have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Medical Prescriber to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B Prison located in Redditch, Worcestershire.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
The site currently offers a 24-hour service, across 7 days per week.
37.5 hours
- likely 9am-5pm but must be flexible.
You will be expected to work a mixture of days and night shift as well as every other weekend and bank holidays.
Potential night shifts/weekend work
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Non-Medical Prescriber your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Undertake Clinical Nursing Practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills
- Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues
- Provide treatment as required, including prescribing medication, within their sphere of competence
- To carry out comprehensive assessments of patients looked after

**Qualifications & Experience required**
- Registered professional with current active registration (NMC, GPHC, HCPC)
- Non-medical prescribing qualification
- Understanding and knowledge of policy developments related to the delivery
- Knowledge of national standards that inform practice (eg National Service Frameworks, NICE guidelines etc)
