Senior SEO Executive

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior SEO Executive, with a strong knowledge of SEO disciplines and strategy to join our Organic team in the heart of Manchester.

You’ll be working in the SEO team and part of an agency where your skills and understanding of organic search will lead client strategy and deliver results.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day SEO activity and strategy to deliver a full range of organic search services that exceed client objectives and expectations.

Our client mix covers a wide portfolio of brands across B2B and B2C sectors, with a focus on integrating multiple channels including SEO, digital PR, content, and web development. This role is ideal for anyone who is looking to broaden and develop their SEO knowledge - you’ll be working with the team to optimise and manage campaigns and help to grow the agency’s client base.

**Your day to day**

As Senior SEO Executive, you will be expected to have a good grasp and knowledge of SEO fundamentals and demonstrate an ability to work alongside content and digital PR teams in order to deliver outstanding organic success.

***As part of your role, you will**:

- Create, develop and implement SEO strategy for clients.
- Define tasks and strategy for organic search campaigns.
- Undertake SEO auditing.
- Analyse and diagnose tech SEO issues and provide recommendations.
- Carry out keyword research, insight and search trends analysis.
- Compile detailed content briefs based on organic search insights.
- Assess content for ability to perform in the SERPs.
- Provide organic performance and ROI reporting.
- Create and present client presentations.
- Carry out backlink profile analysis and provide insights to the PR team
- Communicate with clients and build working relationships via regular calls and meetings.
- Liaise with Copywriters, PR managers and Web Developers.
- Work with Client Service team on client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, updates and best practices, attend industry events (for example, we attend BrightonSEO and Women in Tech SEO Festival regularly).
- Receive internal and external training and upskilling across variety of topics, from tech SEO to presentation skills, to digital PR pitching, site migrations and copywriting principles.

***As part of your skillset, you will have**:

- Understanding and experience of SEO fundamentals and how search engines work.
- Experience in basic technical & content-led SEO strategies and techniques.
- Experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy.
- Experience of crawling software and tech issues diagnosis.
- Proficient with relevant SEO tools and web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio).
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
- Good level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially formulas (vlookups and sumifs)
