**Head of IT Infrastructure - Fixed-Term Contract Opportunity**

Goodman Masson are currently working with an esteemed healthcare organisation based in the North West seeking a Head of Infrastructure to manage the BAU technology infrastructure and to lead the implementation of key transformation projects

**Duration**: 18 months

**Location**:Manchester - 1-2 days onsite per week

**Salary**:£64-589 - £75,051 per annum

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing of hosting strategy and implementation of Cloud hosting where applicable working with suppliers
- Leading, from an infrastructure standpoint, the delivery of the Digital Workplace programme to implement productivity and collaboration tooling based on M365
- Supporting from an infrastructure standpoint, the implementation of new data management and process management tooling likely to be introduced over the period
- Collaborating with delivery teams across the organisation as well as external organisation
- Ensuring that processes and procedures are developed, documented and implemented to ensure the delivery of a robust service including business continuity planning for the IT Infrastructure and IaaS
- Developing SLA and KPI's making sure they are adopted within the teams and are being regularly reviewed and adhered to
- Responsible for the development, management and administration of a range of complex specialist cyber security software and services to ensure compliance
- Delivery of new IT projects. This will include the specification and procurement of new IT solutions, assessment of bids, project planning the deployment and final delivery of the solution
- Providing line management of their direct reports

**Ideal Skills & Requirements**
- Extensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IaaS, industry standards and processes for effective delivery of IT operations
- Knowledge of supporting and Office 365, WAN connectivity and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Demonstrable leadership skills evidenced by an ability to identify and adopt appropriate management and leadership strategies and styles to suit specific situations
- Extensive experience in an IT Infrastructure role
- Experience in leading and managing complex projects
- Experienced in establishing high performing teams and engaging staff in effective delivery of services as well as experience of directly managing staff including performance management and appraisals
