**Job summary**:
Thank you for your interest in the post of Admissions Coordinator with Historic Environment Scotland, based at Longmore House, Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment.

The Groups and Admissions Team reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing and is part of the Marketing and Engagement Directorate. The Directorate is accountable for developing the strategy for our external communications, brand, marketing, visitor engagement and commercial activity with a wide remit covering our properties, collections and wider organisational activities.

**Job description**:
The post is part of the Marketing and Engagement Directorate. The Groups and Admissions Team is responsible for the development of our B2B visitor business to increase visitor numbers and maximise opportunities for income generation, whilst ensuring high standards of customer service. In addition, the team manages our online ticketing business and visitor journeys across our customer groups.

You will primarily be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and providing excellent customer service. The role involves liaising with a range of customers (trade clients, consumers and Historic Scotland members visiting our sites) as well as internal staff and partners. There will be a requirement to help implement new processes and operational procedures in line with customer and business demands.

Key responsibilities, duties and objectives
- Work with the Admissions Executive and visitor operations teams to ensure a focus on delivering a smooth process across the admissions journey from purchase to fulfilment at site and consider opportunities to engage with our visitors post visit.
- Work with teams across Marketing and Engagement to assess ticketing requirements for our range of products and services and advise on appropriate online journeys for specific customer channels.
- Work with the Admissions Team to ensure that customer orders and transactions are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Support business to business ticketing and account enquiries when required.
- Work with the wider team to support delivery of a 7 day customer service operation.

- Weekly & monthly income reconciliation
- The post will involve working flexibly including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

**Person specification**:
You will be required to demonstrate that you meet the requirements and qualifications below as part of the selection process.

**_Essential requirements: _**
- Experience of working with ticketing / admissions / booking systems.
- Experience of working in a customer service role.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office

**Desirable requirements**:

- Experience of working in visitor attractions
- Full clean driving licence or access to independent means of travel.
