Duty Supervisors are part of a team providing a programme of health, fitness and sporting activities at Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre. Working under the leadership of Duty Officers, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the sports facilities. You will patrol the sports centre and liaise with users, sports coaches and class teachers. You will set up sports and fitness equipment for a range of activities including team games, racket sports, martial arts and exercise classes.

There will be general reception and office administration duties such as operation of the computerised booking and membership systems. You will receive and account for payments and assist with banking and general administration. You will assist in advertising, recruitment of members and the planning and delivering of activities.

Duty Supervisors assist sports clubs and coaches and organise sport/fitness events. There will be work in the Fitness Suite, conducting Inductions, Fitness Assessments and the design of Training Programmes.

The roles involve shift work, evenings and weekends on a three-week flexible shift pattern.
