The Logistics Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day transactional processes within our clients MRP system. Ensuring processes are transacted correctly and closed out in a timely manner. You will be expected to coordinate logistics activitiesto ensure customer deliveries happen on-time.

Duties for the Logistic Controller job include.
- Manage production jobs and material on Epicor enabling items to be tracked from start to finish.
- Create transfer orders and assist the Planning team in production activities where required.
- Record completed production volumes and analyse monthly WIP numbers.
- Maintain Transport log and communicate delivery requirements to third party logistic providers.
- Create dispatch paperwork for offsite shipments.
- Attend daily production meetings.

If you’re interested in the Logistic Controller role you will need.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office including Word and Excel skills
- A stores or materials management background would be helpful but is not essential
- Some experience of MRP systems such as EPICOR or SAP desirable
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
